Vacation Bible School is a faith-based program for young children with engaging activities centered on teaching messages from the Bible, staffed by members of the parish. Each of the five mornings of VBS week, the children will gather to sing songs, do crafts, play outdoor games, and learn Bible stories and verses.
2024’s VBS theme was SCUBA: Diving into Friendship with God, which means that each of our Bible messages are focused on how much God loves us and how we can see God as our friend, and all of our activities will have a playful and whimsical under-the-sea theme. Each day, the children will get to meet a special sea creature friend who will help them learn that day’s Bible message and verse!
At All Saints Episcopal Church, we welcome children from all faith backgrounds, and we encourage them to explore their own understandings of God, faith, and spirituality. We will never tell a child that what they believe, what their family believes, or anything that they may have previously learned about God is false or wrong. We simply wish to create an environment in which children can learn, grow, make friends, have fun, and know that they are so loved by God and their community.
Children ages 4-10 are welcome. Nursery care will be provided for younger children who are toilet trained.
